Léa Serier

Léa Serier holds a law degree from the University of Toulouse (France) and completed one year of a Master’s degree in International Law at the same university. Léa is currently studying law at the Université du Québec in Montreal (UQAM), where she researches under the direction of Professor Bernard Duhaime.

During her studies, she also collaborated with UQAM’s International Human Rights Defence Clinic (CIDDHU) on a project to raise awareness and train women on economic, social and cultural rights. Since May 2017, she also collaborates with Bernard Duhaime as part of his work on the United Nations Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances.
