Marie Rémy-Lever holds a Master’s degree in International Law and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies. Marie Rémy-Lever worked for the International Organization of La Francophonie in Paris and the Québec Government Office in London. She also participated in a project orchestrated by the International Youth Offices of Quebec (LOJIQ) for the La Francophonie Games in Abidjan.
Interested in issues related to human rights and international cooperation, her career led her to take part in two international solidarity missions to Cameroon and Haiti. She then worked on a capacity building project in the Democratic Republic of Congo as part of an internship with a Montreal NGO, the International Bureau for Children’s Rights.
Marie Rémy-Lever has also worked to promote international youth mobility within the LOJIQ Foundation. Since 2018, she has worked as an International Affairs Advisor to the Quebec Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion. She also serves as Vice President – Members Relations for Connexion International’s Board of Directors, which provides a network for young international relations professionals in Montreal.
