The project Opening up to the Americas in order to protect human rights and engage in reconciliation aims to create a strategic network of human rights organisations in Canada, whose main function is to share and coordinate strategies of engagement between Canadian actors, and subsequently with their Latin American counterparts.

Mark Your Calendar: A Unifying Event

To do so, we are organizing several regional round-tables in Canada.

The first meeting, which will take place at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) on May 17th, 2018.

Many organizations are expected to attend and this gathering will enable you to learn about their work and present your own. This event will also enable you to integrate an inter-provincial strategic network of humans rights advocates and participate in the formulation of joint recommendations to Canadian authorities.
